    19 December 2012

UnLtd, the largest charity in Europe supporting social entrepreneurs, has announced £5m in new funding, to be shared between 100 early stage social ventures. Financed by the Big Lottery Fund, this programme will support social entrepreneurs to achieve rapid growth by providing access to business support, pro bono expertise and matched funding.

The programme runs from 2013 -2015, and the aim is to attract a further £5m of external investment into these social ventures. UnLtd will deliver the programme in partnership with the organisations ClearlySo, The Shaftesbury Partnership, and the Social Investment Business.

On a personal note, I co-founded UnLtd, and am delighted that to date it has supported over 18,000 social entrepreneurs. Their achievements and determination never cease to be inspiring.
